First Class conservatories are a class apart
There are no limits as to what you can do with our conservatories, which is a refreshing change from most companies in South Wales. Each available style will inject ample space and value into homes; it’s just a case of deciding which one your property would be best off with. Let’s introduce a few key conservatory styles so you get to know what they offer.
Edwardian Conservatories
An Edwardian conservatory has a distinct pointed roof, which makes it feel extra roomy inside and helps it exude a classic look, suitable for new and old homes. Once it becomes a fixture of your property, you’re unlikely to desire more space again, as there’ll be loads of floor area.
Edwardian designs often mirror conventional rooms, so they merge in beautifully with properties and never look out of place. In our experience, customers are often drawn to Edwardian conservatories as they can be multi-purpose, such as combined living and dining settings.
Lean-To Conservatories
For a simple, unfussy offering, the Lean-To conservatory is the obvious solution and compact enough to slot in where there’s minimal room under the eaves.
The roof pitch is adjustable, highlighting the unbound versatility of the style. Sometimes advertised as a sun lounge, a Lean-To is defined by elegantly simple lines throughout. It’s a great style for bungalows or where the smallest angles of roof pitch and free spans of up to 4 metres are required.
Victorian Conservatories
The Victorian design has been around forever, and its popularity remains as strong as ever. Generally, Victorian conservatories have a three-faceted frontage and are gently curved – just two of several trademarks.
Consider the idea of merging a Victorian style with a Lean-To to make a P-shaped conservatory if your home is on the large side and you like an arrangement tailored for two separate uses. Regardless of you opting for three or five facets, a Victorian conservatory will gain the admiration of everyone.
Gable Conservatories
Gable styles take inspiration from the Edwardian variation and can totally reimagine smaller gardens, rewarding you with enough space to stretch out and properly savour home living.
It has an arrangement set up to lure large volumes of natural light inside, so anticipate a bright and inviting atmosphere every time you use it. A high-pitched roof creates a spacious feel and the lines that a Gable conservatory displays are impossible to ignore.
Glass-To-Floor Conservatories
Adaptable and versatile all at the same time, a Glass-To-Floor conservatory from First Class will offer stunning views from every vantage point.
Have it function as an entertainment venue, extravagant dining room, study space or a place for exercising to keep in shape. A full height configuration exudes so much elegance and leaves you absorbed in light.
P-Shaped Conservatories
There’s no such thing as too much space and a customised P-shaped conservatory will deliver bags of room, opening lots of options. The largest P-shaped conservatories are truly multifunctional and somewhere that all members of the household can unite.
P-shaped styles are typified by their remarkable stylishness, advanced engineering and structural robustness. The latest glazing technology can sit within the various facets, including specialised glass, such as tinted and self-cleaning glass.
T-Shaped Conservatories
All T-shaped conservatories produced by First Class are location-specific and yours will be no different – made bespoke for wherever you live. Notify our design team of a preference for something contemporary and minimalist or classic and ornate – you dictate things.
But one thing is for sure, with our unique state-of-the-art technology, your new living space will be cool in summer and warm in winter.
Bespoke Conservatories
If you can’t find a style you like or that won’t suit your house, there’s only one thing for it – craft a customised conservatory solution with First Class. Every bespoke design we develop is location-specific and can be modern or traditional in its look and arrangement.
Opting to go bespoke opens up a world of possibilities and will give you a conservatory that encompasses all the touches you want, such as the latest glazing, including energy-efficient facets in the roof and side frames. There’s even self-cleaning glass available to keep maintenance to a minimum.
Research frame & roof options for conservatories
Following on from selecting a conservatory style, it’s then time to decide what frame type, colour and hardware you’d like included in the structure. Whether you appreciate tradition or you’re modernist in your thinking, our UPVC and aluminium frames will bring your vision to life. You must consider the influence these choices will have on security and energy efficiency.
UPVC is highly affordable, enduring and low maintenance…
Our paint application process enables us to recreate a wealth of colours on UPVC frames, including the most far-out finishes. The standard colour palette encompasses White, Whitegrain, Cream and Chartwell, and if they don’t excite you, maybe Black, Grey or Irish Oak will.
Distinctive colours with a classy effect…
Aluminium colours are so vibrant and really stand out in comparison to inferior finishes. Their emphasised shades are due to them being formulated with an intense powder-coating method, which gives them a lasting beauty that never fades.
At your request, aluminium frames can be dual-coloured with either matching hues on both sides or conflicting finishes in glass, matt or satin.
Our glazed roofs are so technologically advanced…
Enjoy watching the world above your eyes while relaxing in the conservatory through the transparency of a glass roof. The views will mesmerise and so will how little noise you hear anytime that rain or hail hits the roofing system.
Solar control is exceptional too and you can tint the glass to stop glare. To avoid needing to maintain the roof with regularity, ask for us to add self-cleaning glass to the system. Our glass roof will marry excellently with all other glazed openings within the structure.
The tiled roof is unmatched compared to other roofing options…
Light won’t get in quite so easily through a tiled roof than it would via a polycarbonate roof, but there are ways of resolving that and the authentic tiles help it to complement original house tiles.
Insertion of roof windows in a tiled roof will provide the sun with passages of entry into the space and this system is great for fortifying the privacy of users. Select a tiled finish that’s in keeping with current tiles elsewhere and specify the product at a new-build home or for an existing conservatory.
Fine-tune the conservatory with finishing touches…
We put a lot of effort and detail into our window and door handle collection so that they’re up to coping with repeated use and won’t age in appearance.
First Class is happy to guide you through its colour variations for window and door handles if it will help you locate the perfect finish.
